On June 26, 2025, a devastating fire tore through a residential building at 5222 W. North Avenue, claiming the lives of four beloved community members—including longtime editor Brad Cummings and three members of the Henry family. Over 25 residents were displaced, and several remain hospitalized.
The Arthur Lockhart Resource Institute is mobilizing urgent support for survivors and grieving families. Your donation helps provide assistance for the burial services of families lost int the fire.
