Event Ambassador: Major Jas Boothe


Major Jas Boothe stands out as a powerful advocate for women veterans. Her leadership has earned her national recognition, including being named a CNN Hero and receiving the U.S. Army Chief of Staff Outstanding Civilian Service Award. She also holds honors from Oprah Winfrey and Toyota for her outstanding service.


Major Boothe’s story has been featured in major outlets such as Essence, People, HuffPost, The Washington Post, and Ebony. She founded Final Salute Inc. and Ms. Veteran America, organizations dedicated to ensuring that women who served in the military are recognized, supported, and never forgotten. Her commitment to the principle “Never Leave a Fallen Comrade” drives her work to provide resources and visibility for women veterans.


Her role as the Event Ambassador for the 2026 Women Expo Business Expo and Market Place highlights the importance of honoring service and creating spaces where women veterans can connect with the broader community.

  • Shannon Stone-Winding – CEO of BACE Careers

Dr. Elizabeth Lockhart, Executive Director of the Arthur Lockhart Resource Institute and founder of Standup for Veteran and Sister to Sister, Woman Veteran Expo and Market Place, leads the overall vision for the event.
